Support for Students

researchconferenceMIPAR employs a number of graduate research assistants each year. They are primarily, but not solely, enrolled in the UMBC School of Public Policy. Other departments that have supplied graduate research assistants in recent years include Economics, Psychology, and Sociology.

During their tenure MIPAR graduate research assistants have the opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained through coursework to applied research projects, and to develop valuable skills while working on those projects. MIPAR graduate research assistants also work off campus on projects at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

For information about MIPAR graduate research assistantships, contact Elle Trusz or Deb Geare.
