Assistance to the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene

MIPAR administers grants for different programs in the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH). They are: Infectious Disease Bureau; Environmental Health Bureau; Maternal and Child Health Bureau; Cancer and Chronic Disease Bureau; Office of Preparedness and Response; Health Systems and Infrastructure Administration.

Through these grants, DHMH programs administer projects and conduct research. They also provide funding to support approximately 15 graduate research assistants each year, and provide opportunities for faculty and graduate students to become involved in DHMH projects and utilize DHMH databases for research.
