Graduate Research Assistantships with DHMH

Resumes now being accepted for RAs with DHMH

March 10, 2017 2:20 PM
The Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis and Research has funding opportunities for UMBC social sciences graduate students to work as research assistants at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in Baltimore. These positions become available throughout the year, but particularly for fall semester, some may start as early as summer.

These 12-month positions are renewable and many Public Policy graduate students have held these positions in the past. For working 20 hours a week in a DHMH office, the graduate assistants earn a stipend of $17,000+ (more for PhD), 10 credits per semester of tuition remission (fall and spring), and health benefits.

To be considered for one of these RA positions, or to find out more about them, contact: Ms. Deb Geare, Associate Director, MIPAR, (geare@umbc.edu).
If you are sending a resume to her, please send it electronically.  MIPAR is on the 4th floor of the Public Policy Building.
